Our safety approach
LinkMeet exists so people meet in person. That only works if everyone in a group can trust it. These are the house rules — they apply to every group, every time.
Adults only, always
Every LinkMeet group is 18+. You confirm your date of birth when you make your account, and misstating your age gets you removed from every LinkMeet group. A group reported for sitting in a space with minors is frozen on the spot pending review.
Respectful contact
No harassment, no pressure, no contact after someone says stop. Declining a request is silent, and blocking is immediate and unannounced. “No” needs no explanation here.
Real people, real photos
Your photo has to be you. Fake profiles and misleading photos are removed on report.
Reports are reviewed
Reporting someone is confidential, blocks them instantly, and closes the conversation. Repeated reports suspend a profile automatically pending review. Removals can be appealed.
Walled by design
You’re visible only inside groups you join, and your presence there expires when the group does. Chats close 48 hours after a group ends. Verifying you met never shares your exact location.
If you’re ever in immediate danger, find staff or call local emergency services first.
